2020 ACC CONTEXT 연대의 홀씨_연대의 학교(Solidarity School)

지난 20세기 아시아-아프리카-라틴 아메리카의 신생독립국들이 모색했던 연대의 이름은 역설적이게도 제국주의와 연대하지 않는, 즉 비동맹하는 자들의 연대인 ‘비동맹 운동’이었다. 연대의 학교는 비동맹 운동과 제3세계 프로젝트를 관통하는 국제주의적 연대 정신을 되찾으며 그 과정에서 점멸했던 유토피아적인 역사의 흔적들을 방문한다. 이 역사적 시간으로의 항해는 오늘날 신자유주의적 세계화가 만들어낸 세계 없는 세계로부터 탈출하도록 우리를 이끌 구원의 이미지를 회복하고, 과거에 중단되었던 미래를 되찾음으로써 저지당한 미래의 가능성을 여는 일이 될 것이다.

By restoring the spirit of the internationalist solidarity of nationalism that permeates the Non-Aligned Movement and the Third World project, the Solidarity School visits the flickering traces of utopian history.

The “Third World” is the Third Estate played out at a different time and space in history. Those who strove for equality and independence cultivated solidarity under the name of the Third World and resumed their place in history. Paradoxically, this solidarity was named the Non-Aligned Movement, in reference to their unified resistance against imperialist nations. The Solidarity School unearths the utopian moments that galvanized the people of the world not so long ago, and brings images, ideologies, and visions ignited by those moments to the surface.
