타지키스탄에는 자연과 관련된 다양한 형태의 춤이 존재한다. 무용은 다양한 유형으로, 주로 흉내내는 인물이 포함된다. 이러한 춤은 세대에서 세대로 전해지지만, 희귀한 춤 가운데 일부는 무용수와 함께 사라지기도 했다. 파미리 사람들(Pamiri, 타지키스탄 동부에 거주하는 민족)이 장례식 때 추는 애도의 춤은 거의 사라질 위기로, 현재 파미르의 바르탕(Bartang) 계곡에서만 볼 수 있다. 하지만 타지키스탄에는 여러 형태의 춤이 매일 되살아나고 있다. Various dance forms are performed in relation to nature throughout Tajikistan. The dances are varied, mainly having an imitating character. Performed by folk artists, the dances are transferred from generation to generation. Some of the rare dances are gone with their performers. The Pamiri people perform a rare mourning dance that is currently performed only in Bartang Valley and is on the verge of disappearances.
